The project “TOTVET - Training of Tutors and VET professionals for high quality Work Based Learning and Dual Learning” is aiming to increase the professional competences of tutors and VET teachers and and managers, empower them to deliver a quality training in work based learning (WBL) and dual learning (DL) systems. The project will create an innovative and integrative European Training, aiming to improve the competences of different categories of VET professionals involved in work based learning and dual learning.

Partners will establish the training Curriculum for tutors and trainers in company, focused on organizing , planning and implementing training, assessing and of trainees. They will collect training/learning assessment materials from Internet and create new resources, learning tools, organized in a attractive form with links to additional resources, You tube videos, animations and quizzes.

A easy to navigate course, will be also built and made available on the project learning platform in the form in EN, RO, ES PL, DE. Using the resources created, parteners will set up a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), an innovative pedagogical approaches of co-learning through co-creation, based on digital integration in learning, aiming to train the tutors and workplace trainers of providing a good quality work-based learning and dual learning .

IO4: Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)

Based on the innovative Training Model (O1), the Curriculum (O2) and the learning tools and resources (O3) created, piloted and tested, the partners will develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), an innovative pedagogical approaches of co-learning through co-creation, based on digital integration in learning.

The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) aims training the tutors and workplace trainers so that they provide good quality work-based learning and dual learning. The course will be hosted by the Blackboard platform, it will be six weeks longand will have six modules: a start-up module (first week), four modules based on the curriculum units and a module for assessment and evaluation.

IO2: Training Curriculum

The Curriculum responds to the identified training needs of the target groups in the partners’ countries, addressesing the training of tutors in companies and trainers involved in work based learning and dual learning systems.

The purpose of the curriculum is to improve their competences they need to assess individual and organisational training requirements, to plan, deliver and evaluate the training, to guide the workplace and work-based learning processes and to assess the trainees’ learning outcomes.

IO5: VET Teachers Training Methodology

The purpose of the training is to improve the competences of VET teachers , staff and managers to design the training curriculum and organize learning process in WBL and DL, monitor the trainees’ progress, assess, document, certificate, transfer, validate and recognize the learning results using national and EU tools.

IO3: Learning/ training/assessment resources

The training/learning/assessment resources consist of:

a) Training/learning/evaluation materials in CC license and other materials relating to the proposed modules and topics, collected by partners from Internet, such as text, files, audio, video, quiz, recommended links etc.

These resources will be used in the development of learning activities on the training course on the MOOC. When setting up the MOOC (Output 5), the trainers may use these resources, translate and adapt them to the target groups.

The database of resources will be posted on the project platform, in a dedicated section. Users will be able to access them from the course or use them independently, for in depth learning.

b) The learning tools developed by the partners.
For each topic , there will be created a learning tool with information divided in many sequences, organized in an attractive form with links to additional resources, youtube videos, animations and quizzes . Some tools may include videos may be voiced in English and subtitled. This a method to improve the language skills.
The level and content of these tools will be adapted to the needs of target groups, level of education and qualification and specific of the target groups, mainly new or unqualified in their job.

IO6: Learning Platform

he Learning platform will be created for learning and sharing environment having the following characteristics:
• Language: Interface in English. OER resurces will be available in different languages. The training course will be translated in RO, PL, ES and DE;
• Accessible for target groups: Open & privacy-friendly, no login is required, all content is free;
• Easy and continuous upgraded and updated: developed in Content Management System (CMS);
• Allows collaborative work and co-creation: allows the partners to add/modify content and the users to add commentaries and to access the Forum;
• Friendly and easy to use : adapted to the navigation from smartphones and tablets;
• Interactive: links to blogs, forums, social media in the Networking section;
• Professional: Content developed by experts in each informative/learning area;
• Sustainable: Always available both online 365/365, 24 h/24h and offline, users may download the documents/videos/tools, easy to update after the end of the project (CMS);
• Integrative: All project outputs will be embedded in the platform.
